Lynda started studying Occupational Therapy after spending much of her childhood and school holidays at the children's hospital with her brother.
Whilst originally wanting to be a physio, she loved the creative problem solving process in trying to help her brother (with significant burns) keep up with his peers and cope with school. Her brother was lucky enough to have met some incredible therapists, which inspired and drove Lynda to become an OT.
Lynda graduated from Curtin University in 2003 and has worked in both individuals homes and in hospitals throughout her career. Whilst in the community, Lynda has worked with adults and children across a range of different clinical areas.
Lynda takes an individualised approach to setting goals and thinks outside the box to support clients to achieve their goals.
Lynda has worked with a number of different client groups and has a strong interest in functional cognitive rehabilitation. Lynda has most recently been completing hospital based rehabilitation for people with Parkinson's Disease and is looking forward to using the LSVT program and sharing her BIG ideas with people in the community.
When not working, Lynda loves spending time in nature with her kids and dog. Lynda has developed a keen interest in growing natives and edible plants, which will keep her busy until able to travel the world again.
